1. At first, disconnect the modem from your Netgear router and then using an Ethernet cable, connect the computer to a router LAN port given at the back of the router.
2. Plug in the power cable and then turn on the router.
3. Open a browser on your computer and type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar of the browser.
4. Type Username and password at the login page to which you are directed to.Put admin as your username and “password” as your password. Click OK to continue.
5. After that, Click Advanced > LAN IP Setup. And change the IP Address to 192.168.10.1.Then, change starting IP Address to 192.168.10.2 and ending IP Address to 192.168.10.51.
6. Click Apply. When “Page cannot be displayed” or “Action Cancelled” error message appears, close the Internet browser and turn off the router.
7. Connect the modem to the router Internet port and then turn the router back ON.
8. Restart the computer and again visit192.168.10.1.
9. Again enter default username and password and click OK.
10. Click the Setup Wizard under the left of the router settings page.Check Yes, then Next.
11. At Dynamic IP Detected screen, click Next and then Apply.
12. Then, logout from the router setting page.
