- First of all, tap the Marketplace under the SmartThing Classic app.

- In the next step, you have to create the password for the camera when prompted. Click on the Create a Password, and then just tap on the Tap to set. After that, you have to enter a password and make sure that the password cannot contain spaces, question marks or slashes. Tap Next to proceed further.
- After that, you need to wait for a few seconds until the message appears “Password accepted!” and then click next to continue.
- You can configure your camera to communicate via Wi-Fi or either choose Skip wireless setup.
- At last, you have to tap Done to complete the Samsung Smartcam setup and installation.
Another option that can be used is enabled Samsung SmartCam HD Pro to communicate wirelessly via Wi-Fi. It is important to note that the SmartThing Hub and the Camera must be on the same network.
